The Information Systems and Strategic IT Management's research and teaching are carried out strongly connected to our industry partners. In this way, the interchange with practice should be fostered and a meaningful complement of competences be achieved. Thus, we provide the following offerings to practice:
Applied research projects
By collaborating in innovative projects, we provide support for companies and public organizations in developing and evaluating cutting-edge concepts and solutions in the domain of strategic IT management. Due to our synergetic interaction of research and practice, the companies involved benefit from latest scientific research and value-based applications of modern technologies. At the same time, expertise and methodically well-grounded know-how of our employees can be leveraged.
Here you can find some examples of our private sector projects.
CIO Round Table
Since 2014, the CIO Round Table has encouraged the networking of IT executives as well as the interlocking of practice and research in the upper Franconian region. Therefore, the event aims at IT managers from medium-sized companies in the region as well as IT experts from academia.

By getting involved in our teaching and education our industry partners make contact to our high potentials at an early stage. They participate in our first-class education of young and outstanding students with management potential.
